Consent Appointment

With everything now in place for surgery, you are ready to schedule your consent appointment. During this visit you and your support person will meet with Dr. Georgescu and discuss the following:

• Risks and complications of surgery
• Diet and the phases of the diet before and after surgery
• Life style changes after surgery
• Answer any additional questions you may have
• Consent form and answer questions
• If both parties are in agreement and feel comfortable moving forward with the surgery, you and Dr. Georgescu will sign the consent form.
• Meet with Bariatric Coordinator
• Review details of diet
• Discuss when to be at the hospital and any other details pertaining to your hospital stay.
